let's say i want to use raspberry pi 2 for running a website with these considerations (new to linux and servers here). will it be possible? and how to do it? (my main problems now are 3 and 4)
1. using the pi2 to run both xbmc for tv watching and lighttpd server
2. using duckdns for pointing it to a subdomain (i've dynamic ip)
3. using my own domain name (not the duck's subdomain) and point it to my server.
4. connecting my pi to my windows 8.1 so i can upload files to the pi with dreamweaver or other method
5. keeping everything pretty secure as a beginner for all of this.

how to copy files to the www folder if it doesn't seems i've the permissions?
and more unrelated questions...
i've a webhost (hostwind) for another domain. and i want to unassociate the one of the domains there. they told me it is not possible to remove the main domain from the account. i want to ask if they will be able to close my account and open a new one for me with just the other domain. do you believe they will do it?
also, i moved from hostgator to hostwind after a little problem with the payment there but they don't really send me a refund. i paid for a whole year about 6 months ago but tried to upgrade my account there due to some problem and clarity from the live chat staff, so at the end they blocked my site. they haven't answered my ticket regarding this for a few days so i moved to hostwinds because i needed the site up and running.
they talked to me by email and wrote me many times. i haven't really understood them much in this conversation but i think they meant they will refund me because i didn't received an answer on time.
at the end they haven't responded to couple of my emails to they on why they don't refund/answer.
what do you suggest me to do if i don't get a refund? (i paid them full price and left with 6 unused months)
